FRONT COVER:  Cover is relatively flat with surface wear beginning to show, as well as some dimples in the page.   The biggest issue would be the stain extending from Iron Man's foot in the corner logo down to the bottom of the 12 cent price section.   The rest of the cover is extremely bright and attractive.

BACK COVER:  The back cover is relatively flat with a small amount of stains noticable, particularly near the spine.   The top edge is beginning to show wear and chipping.

INTERIOR PAGES:  Paper is tan and supple, with no hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint.  The interior of the book is firmly attached to the spine.   No major tears or writing was seen.

CORNERS:  Corners are squared, with ever-so-slight blunting beginning to show.

INDENTATIONS AND STAINS:   There only major stain is a thin two-inch stain focused around the top staple of the cover.   The stain is visible on the inside and the outside of the cover, but not into the interior pages.

SPINE:  The spine is flat, with no spine roll.  There is no spine split, but tiny bits of wear are visible up and down the length of the spine.
